Our Precious Treasure Box Set is a specially designed celadon storage item, ideal for keepsakes or potpourri/incense which symbolises strong partnerships and bright futures ahead. On these richly glazed jars, is a carving of a wild peony. The great Chinese poet Li Bai, famously compared his mistress Yang Yuhuan’s beauty to peonies, as he wrote: “Floating clouds remind me of her clothes, and peonies her face”.
